Sloop Rig Moving A Jibe Forward On A Sloop Rigged Sailboat?

Moving a jibe forward on a sloop rigged sailboat? - sloop rig

In a 36-foot sailboat, move the trick candle, one foot in front, what impact would this have on performance?

Under the assumption that the tactic is in motion (at the bottom) to the forward and move the center of effort forward of the sail. The boat with a little more likely that the wind dropped and a little less likely that the wind point. If you have a rudder, he would have less time in front of him, and the helm to leeward.

Most of the sailors appear with the feeling of the head to be satisfied if they have a slight weather helm. When you sit on the windward side, they have to hold the bar for a low voltage. But if you do a lot of cash to have much time to go the sailing direction would be a possible solution, depending on how they managed the vessel.

The sloop of many ships, you can an exaggerated idea of what moves the arm was forward sail only with the arm have, and no more. It can be difficult to keep the boat into the wind, hard tack to stop hard, the flood of new game, and errors increase, to a wide angle.
